Indiana Excavating Service was developed February 2016 with the combined business of Doug Hare Excavating. Doug Hare , Billy Smith Jr & Joseph Hollis joined together to build what is now owned by Billy Smith Jr & Joseph Hollis. When the owners made the decision to begin IES they wanted to be able to provide their clients with some of the best employees in the excavation industry. Therefore all of IES field crews are Union Operators & Union Laborers. Our Operators and Laborers take pride in being Union, this allows IES to provide quality construction projects to all of our clients in a safe & efficient mannor.
